The crowning glory of every project is the successful marketing of an application idea based on a cost-optimized, series-ready production in a production environment tailored for this purpose. This goal is flanked by various milestones:
- The product and its design need to conform to market requirements
- The machines need to be calibrated to each other before production begins
- The start of production must be reliable, tested, and “qualified”
- The production process must be stable and take place reproducibly
- The production environment needs to be adapted to (growing) demand
In order to make it possible for our clients to achieve these milestones easily and meaningfully, we offer our concept of the “start-up factory” as a result of our competencies for the comprehensive realization of their product vision. Here, decades of experience in the disciplines of mold construction and plastics manufacturing are combined with a mature competency in professional process management. Krallmann advises its clients step-by-step and according to their needs until they reach their goals.
Do you only need us to test and approve your mold or would you like us to produce initial prototypes for your product tests? Would you like to (initially) have an experienced partner deal with the “teething troubles” encountered when your product idea first goes into production, and then take over the smoothly running process at a later date, or are you planning to only transfer the machines to your own production facilities over the medium term? With our know-how and our resources, we are equipped to fulfill your needs. We have experience with and the ability to deal with the series production of articles lasting several years, as well as with assisting our clients with “starting up” such processes — independent of how long these start-up phases are in the client’s definition. This sets us apart in many respects. Whether it is the training of your employees or the full testing of various product variants — our production environment and resources are made available to our clients and located in close proximity to the development and mold construction departments.

FLEXIBILITY
The Krallmann Team assists its clients either with certain areas of a project (partial) or manages it completely from the very first article concept to series production. As part of a flexible task management concept, the Krallmann experts advise their clients through all phases of the process. These include:
- Development of the article
- Planning an efficient manufacturing process
- Mold construction
- Provision of injection molding machine and automation
- “Breaking in” the production unit
- Production of the first parts in series within the time frame agreed upon — also over the long term upon request
- Relocation of the production unit to a specified location
RELIABILITY
It is only when the process is fully in motion and the machines, particularly for highly automated processes with component manufacturing, are fully calibrated for each other, that the “handover” to series production takes place. The manufacturing facilities of the Krallmann Group, which have been in use for years and are constantly modernized to ensure that they are state of the art, provide the necessary prerequisites for ensuring the desired production reliability. This includes the following:
- Test and commissioning of the machines in a real-world environment
- Implementation of any desired modifications in the production cell
